Administrative Assistant

We are currently looking for dedicated Medical Administrative Assistants in several of our Care Centers around the state who have experience working in a fast paced environment with electronic medical records (EPIC experience is a plus).

Medical Assistant:

We are specifically looking for candidates who are either Registered or Certified as a Medical Assistant, or have recently completed a Medical Assistant program and are willing to sit for the exam within 6 months of employment. Ideal candidates must demonstrate sufficient clinical knowledge, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exhibit exceptional customer service.

APRN/PA

Connecticut GI is looking to hire a full time APRN/PA for our expanding progressive gastroenterology practice. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or APRN Program and must possess a current Connecticut PA/APRN license and be board certified. Candidates will be expected to participate in outpatient care. We are currently hiring for our Harford, Waterford, Bristol, and Torrington Care Centers. Outpatient office responsibilities include new patient consults as well as follow up visits. The clinician will be responsible for patient assessment, the ordering and analysis of relevant radiology and laboratory studies as well as necessary follow up and patient education. The successful candidate must be able to perform independently as well as function as part of a treatment team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
