Physician Assistants (PA)

What You Will Do For Us:

Outpatient office responsibilities include: new patient consults as well as follow up visits.

The clinician will be responsible for patient assessment, the ordering and analysis of relevant radiology and laboratory studies as well as necessary follow up and patient education.

The successful candidate must be able to perform independently as well as function as part of a treatment team.

In consultation with the physician(s), Nurse Practitioners (APRN) and Physician Assistants (PA) develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists

What We Are Looking For In You:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or APRN Program and must possess a current Connecticut PA/APRN license and be board certified.

What You Will Do For Us:

  • Providing Remarkable Patient Experience: you will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vital signs (blood pressure, height, and weight) and documenting accurately utilizing Epic EMR.

What You Will Do For Us:

  • Providing Remarkable Patient Experience: Schedule procedure and office visit appointments following CTGI policy and scripting
  • Attention to Detail: Update insurance and demographic information when scheduling appointments, obtain cardiac clearance for patients scheduled for procedures where warranted and follow up on procedure to ensure ASC has documentation
  • Team Player: Assist with any general office function at the request of the site supervisors or managers and lend support to other CTGI staff members as required, to ensure proper patient care and smooth functioning of the office.

Credentialing Specialist

What You Will Do For Us:

  • Coordinate streamlined credentialing processes for all incoming providers.
  • Responsible for gathering, verifying, and evaluating highly confidential and sensitive healthcare practitioner credentials consistent with departmental guidelines and accreditation standards.
  • Respond to all practitioner, client health plan, and internal inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor expiring licensure, board and professional certifications, and other expirable documents with practitioners within the prescribed timeframe.
  • Oversee files to ensure completeness and accuracy; review all file documentation for compliance with quality standards, accreditation requirements, and all other relevant policies; prepare and provide information to internal and external customers as appropriate.
  • Enter, update, and maintain data from provider applications into credentialing database.

What We Are Looking For In You:

  • Two years of relevant credentialing experience.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills.
