Dr Gene was exceptional, knew I was going to need a procedure after having my gall bladder out. Had it performed the next day. Very pleasant Dr and staff.

Very knowledge and friendly doctor and cares for his patients
It’s so nice to have one reliable physician in your area that actually cares and takes time to listen to you. He goes out of his way to always try to accommodate your needs, and tries to figure out what is best for you. I wish more younger physicians could follow his code of ethics and professionalism. Never feel rushed. Great office staff too.
Has a wonderful personality. Listens to the patient right on top of things and takes immediate action to get done what needs to be done. Easy to get along with.
Doctor was familiar with my health records and made appropriate recommendations.
Everyone in the office was real nice. Dr. Sapizhnikov even came out to see me after my appointment.
“Dr. Gene” is extremely interested in what might be ailing his patients during his prescreening office discussions. He asks questions and follows-up immediately if he doesn’t feel he has the clearest understanding of the patient’s health issues. Mistiming of ingestion of prescribed medication(s) before or after meals CAN affect the effectiveness of the medicine(s). Yes. He fully completes the in-office body checks. But his desire to learn the “REAL” root cause of his patient medical “issues”, makes him standout as a genuine “Dr. Gastro Expert” in the gastroenterologist field in Connecticut.
I’m very pleased with the visit. It was informative and considerate.
I had a forthright & informative with Dr. about need for antibiotics prior to my procedure. He advised me that was no longer necessary (I have an artificial left hip & tns implant my lower left back).
Dr Sapozhnikov was very thorough when meeting with me, asked all crucial question concerning my ongoing heath issue. He I very proactive in searching for answers as to why I am having these medical problems and will not stop until a correct diagnosis is found. I can not say enough great things about his care.
The medical staff was pleasant and well prepared for our visit.
Dr Sapozhnikov is a fabulous physician, excellent clinician, and kind practitioner. He stays atop current research which resulted in him being able to diagnose an unusual and serious condition several years ago. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Wonderful Doctor, always thorough, easy to feel comfortable with.
The entire team was caring and professional. Very easy experience (except for the prep, of course!).
Great to work with and does a great job
Exceptional service from everyone. Thank you
Endoscopy went very well, no problems except that the elevator wasn't working but the nurse helped me navigate the stairs while woozy from my anesthesia.
This doctor and his staff saved my life back in 2007 with a colonoscopy. A Stage 3 Colon cancer diagnosis resulted in surgery and chemotherapy which resulted in me being able to write this in 2022. My latest visit resulted in a couple of polyps being removed and he and his staff continue to provide great, totally professional care. I will definitely continue with his plan to scope me every three years.
Everyone is so kind and thoughtful here. I came in to discuss a personal and embarrassing issue. Dr was kind, emphatic……. Felt more comfortable going forward with his treatment advice.
