Emergency Center/Newell Rd. Construction: February-Summer 2020

Bristol Hospital is excited to announce the next phase of their Emergency Center Expansion: the re-grading of Newell Rd., which kicks off late February 2020. Upon completion in Summer 2020, this five-and-a-half month project will reduce the steep grade of Newell Rd. and create a more usable space for the new, larger Emergency Center.

This is a significant construction effort that requires the hospital to re-route ambulance traffic and shift parking areas. They will do their best to minimize disruption to patients and visitors.

Newell Rd.
Starting late February, Newell Rd will become a 2 way street. All street parking will be eliminated.  In March, Newell Rd. will be closed to all traffic.

Medical Office Building
All patient parking will be provided by the FREE valet service. This is the easiest and most convenient option to ensure you are not affected by the construction-related parking restrictions.

You can access the valet parking from Goodwin St. Look for new signs on Goodwin St. directing you to the lot entrance.

Use the TEXT 2 Pick-Up feature: As you leave our care center, simply text your ticket number, vehicle make, model and color to have your car waiting for you after your appointment.
