Dr. Neil Parikh is an excellent gastroenterologist. He is very caring, a great listener, and gives you the necessary time to answer all of your questions. He responds quickly to messages via the patient portal. Dr. Parikh is also willing to make referrals to other specialists to complement your care with him. Unfortunately, since the end of 2024, the office is so busy that it is very difficult to get an appointment, even if you have an emergency. As an established patient of more than twenty years, I still had to wait more than three months to get an appointment for a concern I had. And when I did get in and he asked me to return in three months, there are no openings until five months. Hopefully, Connecticut GI will be able to hire more doctors in the near future.

Dr Parikh and all of the support staff provided exceptional care. Their kindness and competence give me confidence as I navigate the health challenges that I’m experiencing.
Dtr Parikh is kind and listens! I feel great about our plan on how to address my Barrett’s Esophagus.
Dr parikh is excellent. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease.
Dr. Parikh is very responsive when I send him messages. Like him very much
Very friendly and organized. I have an unknown bleeding problem and immediately planned my initial tests and explained clearly what to expect. Great attitude when I needed one.
Very calming manner, patient and listens to all concerns. Explained results of procedures plain & simple. Sticking with him!
First visit went well. Waiting on colonostomy
Communication is fair….the doctor is good….patiently explained everything and answered all my questions….good experience and work ethics….
Dr Parikh, MD is a very affable with a great "bedside manner". He spends time to make sure that I understood the procedures he was performing and in recovery he fully explained the results in layman terms. I had a pre virtual appointment and a post procedure appointment scheduled approximately one month after procedure to check on my progress and recovery and discuss timing and the necessity for future appointments. In these times of virtual appointments I felt as though I was in his office instead of on a computer screen. I look forward to receiving his care in the future and would refer and recommend him to anyone I know who is in need of GI care
