Thomas Rockoff, M.D.
Gastroenterologist
Tom joined Naugatuck Valley Gastroenterology Consultants in 2001 after completing fellowship training at the University of Virginia. Tom graduated from Rutgers Medical School and did his internal medicine residency at Boston University. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is on the medical staff at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury Hospital, and Waterbury Surgery Center. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology.

The staff up front are beyond exceptional! Kind, efficient, good humored, and amazing at what they do.
Dr. Rockoff is the best in the business. His bedside manner and his personalized style of transmitting medical information are top-notch. Going to the Doctor is not a luxury vacation with a pool-side open bar which is why I would ignore the few negative reviews. People conflate the way they feel with the office which is not anyone's fault but that's the way it seems to go in this industry.

Dr. Rockoff has been instrumental in finding out the cause of my gastrointestinal issues and has always given me his time as he evaluated my situation. If it weren’t for him my situation would’ve gone undetected. I continue to refer many people/patients to him who travel from Fairfield County. I highly recommend Dr. Rockoff whom I consider to be too in this field!
First time i got my infusión for iron it helper me alot he explained thoroughly what he was ,doing now,I'm anemic all my b12,6 ect,d,iron,all is low he's checking, my colonoscopy first before the infusion.
Dr. Rockoff took amazing care of me. He has a wonderful bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. I had my colonoscopy done at waterbury surgery center and it was a great experience. Staff was caring and very professional. I highly recommend him!
DR Rockoff performed a procedure on me January 27,2020 and he was kind, professional and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone needing Gastro problems.

Awesome Staff. Dr Rockoff Is A Terrific Easy Going Doctor. I was in and out for my colonoscopy. No issues.
Dr Rockoff and staff were incredible. First time for a colonoscopy and they put all my fears to rest. Facility was clean and well organized. I will recommend this group to anyone that needs a colonoscopy and such.
